Features

The pre-order workflow you've been missing

Every feature here exists because merchants asked for it. Nothing we don't need, nothing we wish we'd built later.

Native Selling Plans

We use Shopify's official Selling Plans API. Orders flow through the real checkout — taxes, discounts, and shipping all behave normally.

One-toggle setup

Open a product, flip the switch. The buy button changes automatically. Disable it just as fast. No code, no theme edits.

Built-in email notifications

Confirmation emails when customers order, fulfillment emails when you ship. Customizable templates with merge tags.

Order dashboard

All pre-orders in one view. Filter by status, search by customer, mark as fulfilled in bulk. Sync with Shopify automatically.

Quantity limits

Cap how many pre-orders each product accepts. Pre-orders auto-disable when the cap is hit. No oversells, no manual checks.

Theme-safe

Because we use Selling Plans, your pre-order setup survives any theme update, theme switch, or store redesign.

How it works

Live in three steps

STEP 01

Install & open a product

Install from the Shopify App Store. Open the Products tab and pick a product launching soon or temporarily out of stock.

STEP 02

Configure the pre-order

Set delivery date, button text, quantity cap, and email templates. We create a Selling Plan on Shopify behind the scenes.

STEP 03

Ship when ready

Customers buy normally. When stock lands, mark orders as fulfilled and Shopify sends shipping notifications automatically.

FAQ

Common questions

Will this work with my theme?

Yes. We use Shopify's official Selling Plans API, which every Shopify 2.0 theme supports natively. We don't inject custom code into your cart.

When do customers get charged?

At checkout, just like a regular order. You ship when your stock arrives. Taxes, discounts, and shipping rules all apply as normal.

How is this different from other pre-order apps?

Most apps inject their own button into your theme — they break when you update or switch themes. We use Selling Plans, which is what Shopify themselves recommend. Your setup survives any theme change.

Can I limit how many pre-orders I accept?

Yes. Set a cap per product. Once the cap is hit, pre-orders auto-disable and your original buy button is restored.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time from Shopify's billing page. Pre-order buttons stay live until your billing period ends. Existing customer orders are unaffected.

Do I need a paid plan to try it?

No. The Free plan supports 10 pre-orders per month, no credit card required. Upgrade only when you need more volume.
